4 or 8 or 12 hour shifts available

$18hr to $23hr depending on experience.

Independently-owned home care provider that offers non-medical home care services and personal care assistance to seniors and disabled individuals in the Ventura County is looking for Caregivers to join their team.

Summary: Seeking dedicated people to play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance. Your compassionate nature and dedication will provide essential support to clients in home. You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of those you care for, promoting independence while maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the living space to ensure a hygienic atmosphere for clients.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Uphold safety protocols while working with individuals with autism or other special needs.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in meal preparation tailored to dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Knowledge of CPR techniques and first aid practices to ensure client safety.
• Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and medication administration protocols.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to client health and safety.
• Experience in home community care settings or nursing homes is advantageous.
