Respiratory Therapist

Per Diem
2 shifts available:
- Day Shift: 7am to 7pm
- Night Shift: 7pm to 7am
$45hr to $50hr depending on experience.
A skilled nursing facility in Moreno Valley is seeking an experienced and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join their care team on a per diem basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values professionalism, teamwork, and quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and care for residents with respiratory conditions or cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapy procedures and treatments.
- Monitor and record patient responses to therapy and adjust care as needed.
- Maintain and operate respiratory equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to provide high-quality respiratory care.
- Educate residents and families on respiratory treatments and health management.
- Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
- BLS/CPR certification (required); ACLS preferred.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
